My name is Ben.
I'm a self-employed web developer located in cosy little Adelaide, South Australia.
I have a strong interest in all things web, and I love the fusion of art and technology that lies at the basis of web design. There are not many positions that allow you to utilize both the left and right hemispheres of your brain in your everyday tasks, and it's this ability to combine my programming aptitude and fascination for design that makes me love what I do.
My Background
Prior to commencing my business as a sole trader in December 2007, I was employed by one of Australia's most prominent e-commerce stores as Website Manager for 5 years. With a turnover exceeding $20 million per annum, I lead a small team and oversaw web marketing, plus website and database maintenance and upgrades, including integration of a company wide intranet and more.
From an education perspective, I have a background in Computer and Information Science at the University of South Australia, but chose to enter the workforce instead of complete my degree... silly me!
